From 9 November to 2 December 2023, five French and Flemish cultural and artistic institutions have co-organised the 16th edition of the NEXT international festival of theatre, dance and performance in and around the Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai Eurometropolis and Valenciennes. In addition to the co-organisers, 18 structures in 16 towns joined in. Together, they invited their audiences to a selection of 34 productions by innovative artists from all over the world. The festival welcomed 14,188 spectators.

> 44 buses brought 1,769 spectators to shows in other towns and regions (1,029 in 2022).
> In TeeNEXTers, 25 young Europeans from Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Belgium and France gathered for seven days in the Eurometropolis for a programme of performances and workshops around artistic experience, critical opinion-making and journalism. Organised by le Grand Bleu (Lille) with the support of NEXT.
> IT'S A MATCH - professional study and meeting days on Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 November brought together 120 artists, programmers and political decision-makers from France and Belgium to discuss the projects of creators from both countries and the urgent challenge of the ecological transition in the performing arts.
