For his new performance, Fabrice Murgia, the wonder boy of the French-speaking theatre in Belgium, immerses himself in the psyche of young people nowadays : those who were born in a digital age in which everything changes super-fast and nothing seems certain. The hope for change has come to rest more and more heavily on the shoulders of our youth but sometimes it is too much for them too. Only think of Hikikomori, the latest craze in Japan : young people who lock themselves up in their bedroom for months, with only a computer screen as a window on the world.

Murgia incorporates the newest technology in his performances to speak about the loneliness and the alienation that are typical of this age. Last summer Notre peur de n'être premièred at the prestigious Festival d' Avignon.
