Workshop for cultural communication professionals
Cultural organisations in the border region are keen to expand their offer, but are coming up against language barriers. How can they communicate bilingually? Which channels should be used? How can we work together to ensure accessibility? The Eurometropole Culture Workshop gives French, Walloon and Flemish cultural organisations the opportunity to learn from each other and to think together about how they can improve accessibility and think together about how to pool their efforts.

What is the Atelier Culture/Cultuur of the Europetropolis Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai Eurometropolis?
Cross-border network culture
L'Atelier Culture is a cross-border network bringing together actors in and around the Eurometropole. It is based on three pillars:
- MEETING - meetings focused on discovering the cross-border cultural landscape, e.g. 'Hour culture', 'Coup de cœur', 'eurometropolis café'...
- CONNECT - new cross-border alliances based on existing projects and programmes with supra-regional appeal
- PERENNISE - structuring actions by working groups based on specific professional needs: working group for Flemish, Walloon and French museums, consultation on the status of artists, financing of cross-border cooperation, cross-border communication and public awareness, etc.
Throughout the year, NEXT Festival joins forces with the Eurometropole and helps to organise the Culture Workshop.
