Choreographer Marcos Simões is fascinated by the aesthetics of fear. It is a primal force that influences our view of the world and our actions. Both reality and our fiction are imbued with it. Fear may be a bad counsellor, but it can also be an engine of action and creativity. Among unfinished objects, embroidered cloths, woven baskets, movements and images symbolising fear, Simões solo proves that fear makes us more or less human.
