Nothing is what it seems, is what the young Portuguese Márcia Lança seems to suggest in this performance. Lança, rooted in the circus and mime tradition, brings the audience to this understanding with 1800 nails, thirty wooden planks and a hammer. Along with her companion Calixto João, she examines, on stage, the possibility of constructing ‘something’ from 'nothing.
