FOKOVISME as a collective and philosophy emphasizes craftsmanship and direct action. Their creation starts from the visual and abstract language of Fokovisme. FOKOVISME is a way of making and approaching art regardless of popular movements and regardless of imposed rules of academies and the mainstream art world surrounding it. Fokovist working methods are often experimental and a mix of spontaneity and research. By the art of trial and error they search for a desired end result.
Project
UDIV & IDNI (2023)
UDIV&IDNI is an audiovisual performance with room for experimentation and a strong focus on movement, light, use of color, costume and scenography. UDIV&IDNI is a visually charged science fiction trip. FOKOVISME mixes elements, tendencies and experiences from their own lifeworld with fiction. The costumes become a kind of biomechanical tool with fokovian, science fiction and human influences which are also used to create the scenography. The performance is at once a humorous questioning of speeches by the "great gods" of technological culture and a look at transhumanism that seeks to push the boundaries of the universe and one's own life. Thanks to the use of 3D mapping in the theatrical space, combined with surround sound, FOKOVISME gives the audience the feeling of being an integral part of the performance.

PL3MONS | De TU1N D3r PRUTS3N (2021)
Installation
PL3MONS is a hybrid, Afro-futuristic, 3D-style multimedia performance that floats on a post-apocalyptic scenario: climate change is a reality and the population is in survival mode. FOKOVISME immerses the audience in a new reality, where plastic lives and plants gaze at you.
TU1N D3r PRUTS3N lets you absorb into the universe of alien-like creatures called PL3mONS. These alien, parasitic creatures find through plastic a host to wreak havoc and destruction on Earth. In TU1N D3r PRUTS3N, plant spirits are the embodiment of nature and the opposites of the PL3MONS. PL3MONS is about the predatory role of plastic and other polluters.
As a visitor, you can walk around and interact with the PL3MONS and plant spirits.
