Franz Xaver Kroetz was inspired by a feature story of a pedophilic crime which occured in Germany in 2001. The topic, at one point intimately confi ned but presently publicly exposed, consequently calls into question the particular treatment it is given in the media and specifi cally what it means to us, after having found out. Is our perception of the world at all affected by it?
