At ClubINC, host Connor Schumacher and eight dancers take you on a whirlwind total experience that swings to the tones of opera, techno and everything in between. Expect joy and vulnerability in an energetic dance performance by a group of people who are different from you, while you are also that other. In this inclusive feast for the eye and the soul, there is no distinction between us and them, between you and the other. Everyone is equal, everyone on the dance floor!
American-Dutch dance artist Connor Schumacher firmly believes that society would be more beautiful if everyone danced every day. And that is exactly what he tries to achieve with his performances. ClubINC stems from the motivation to learn from each other. This production explores how dance as an applied art form can create an inclusive space in which every person can exercise their humanity again.
