The backroom of a pharmacy, a recently qualified pharmacist, a few transvestites, a game of poker, a Saturday night in Buenos Aires... These are the ingredients of the explosive Viejo, solo y puto (Old, alone and homosexual). Graduated after ten years of study, Daniel returns to the pharmacy of his father and his brother Evaristo. Night is falling and the father wants to play poker with a few friends. He has decided to retire – it’s been enough. Daniel thinks this is a bad idea. But this night is not like all the others. It slowly unfolds with gallons of tepid beer, wedges of take-away pizza and the sound of cumbia. Some drugs could still improve the atmosphere, couldn’t they ? And isn’t the company in exactly the ideal place for that ? As the chemical cocktail produces its effect, the night takes a cheekier, more sexual turn.
