In last year's edition of NEXT, the Israeli choreographer and performer Arkadi Zaides showed the moving solo Archive in Tournai. For his next creation, he explores the link between border and movement. With the European internal and external borders as an example, he examines how borders block movement and how they can themselves become regions of ethnic conflict and physical fight. In November 2016, Arkadi Zaides works on this investigation in the Eurometropolis together with inhabitants, scientists, journalists...from the region. 

On the last day of his stay the public is invited to the residence studio for a first presentation/debate of his work in progress.
