Institut du Monde Arabe
On November 17th a new aerial of the well-known Institut du Monde Arabe from Paris opens in Tourcoing. The old swimming school of Tourcoing is being converted into a cultural hotspot which will house a language centre, a permanent collection and a documentation centre. Besides, exhibitions, concerts, conferences and educational activities will be organised all year round. With an open view of the world and the aim to connect both coasts of the Mediterranean with each other, the Institut du Monde Arabe wants to introduce the West to the cultural richness and the current developments in the Arab world.
