Cinquanta Urlanti, Quaranta Ruggenti, Sessanta Stridenti

Dewey Dell (Italy)

45 minutes

Teodora Castellucci gets her inspiration for Cinquanta Urlanti, Quaranta Ruggenti Sessanta Stridenti from the world of seafaring. The choreography is based on the way a sailor and his ship become one during a long time at sea. The dancers shake and stagger like distorted black hulls. Movement, light and music turn out awful visions of creatures that fight for their existence against the elements. Needless to say, Teodora Castellucci’s visual representations are true pearls.
