Ce ConTexte

Yaïr Barelli (Israel)

40 minutes

Like a spider that weaves its web but is itself also part of its own creation, dancer Yaïr Barelli aims to bring together the dance and its context. In the solo Ce ConTexte, Barelli unravels his web, until his self and his motivations are laid bare. The dancer follows the urges of his body and obeys its decisions. Meanwhile, he talks, in a relentless stream of consciousness, about what inspires him. The dance floor becomes a place of confession...
