For the processing of personal data, FESTIVAL NEXT also makes use of processors who process the data on behalf of NEXT (accounting services, social secretariat, IT suppliers, event organisers, for example). These are located in the European Economic Area. If NEXT calls on processors, data may end up in the countries in which the data centres of those processors are located. If the countries concerned are not covered by the agreements between the EU and those countries or the suppliers are recognised, NEXT will deal with this by, for example, entering into an agreement with those processors that offers the necessary guarantees. NEXT will ensure that strict rules are followed.
The starting point for keeping personal data is the legal retention period (often up to ten years after the end of a contract or transaction). For the exercise or safeguarding of our rights (e.g. as long as a claim is not excluded in court), this may be longer, in particular depending on the applicable limitation periods, as the case may be.
NEXT does not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or is required by law, i.e. 5 years.
Your rights regarding your data
The privacy legislation gives you, as a 'data subject', a number of rights.
If NEXT requests permission for the processing of data, you can revoke that permission afterwards.

It is possible that some personal data from back-up files, log files, history files or archive files are not included in this overview. These data do not form part of the personal data usually processed and are not immediately available. However, they will be removed from these files according to usual processes.
You can have your data corrected or removed in the event of unlawful processing, should this be the case by mistake.
You may object to processing by NEXT on the basis of its legitimate interest. Unless there are compelling reasons not to do so, NEXT will respond.
NEXT does not use data processing that is fully automated, i.e. without human intervention.
