As It Empties Out

Jefta Van Dinther

Sweden / Netherlands

The Swedish dancer Jefta van Dinther has already worked together with big names such as Xavier Le Roy and Mette Ingvartsen. Since Plateau Effect , a performance he choreographed for the well-known Cullberg Ballet, all major dance companies are jostling with each other to support him. NEXT and Buda have been following Jefta van Dinther for quite some time and co-produce his new creation As it empties out, in which six super dancers expose themselves to the incredibly exciting triangle of image, light and sound. Rest assured that your senses will be unsettled each time their bodies appear and disappear like in a dark dream. Through rituals the dancers express themselves in an endless stream of energy and emotion. A fascinating game of scale, dimension and time, that's what As it empties out promises to be !
