COVID19-rules in NEXT festival

Since there are lots of different partners (in different countries) involved in NEXT, it can be hard to keep track of the rules. We will updates the rules here as we go.

Performances in BELGIUM: Since the capacity of the halls in Belgium is less than 500 spectators, it is not necessary to present a Covid Safe Pass or to wear a mouth mask. However, we still ask you to be sensible and to stay at home in case of illness or symptoms.

IN THE BUSES: Currently it is mandatory to wear a mouth mask on the buses. In the buses to France, the Pass Sanitaire may also be requested, as it will also be requested in the halls. A few days before the performance, you will receive an email with all the information, as well as the Covid rules of the moment.

Performances in FRANCE: access to all venues is subject to the presentation of a health pass (Pass Sanitaire) for persons over 12 years old. You must be able to present a QR code (on smartphone or paper). Other documents will not be taken into consideration.

Masks do not need to be worn by individuals who entered the facility with a health pass. However, this may depend on venue to venue. However, the regulations allow the organizer of the event in question to make the wearing of a mask mandatory (Article 47-1, V of the amended decree of June 1, 2021). For more information, consult the health measures taken by the venue:
